Hyundai IONIQ 6 N named Best Driver’s Car at TopGear.com EV Awards 2026

The Hyundai IONIQ 6 N has continued its electrifying start to life in the UK by picking up another prestigious accolade, being crowned Best Driver’s Car in the TopGear.com EV Awards 2026.

The annual awards, now in their seventh year, are a celebration of the finest choices in the ever-evolving world of electric vehicles, recognising innovation and excellence in a number of key categories.

Top Gear’s expert panel of judges praised the IONIQ 6 N for its ability to transform a highly digital driving experience into something truly engaging, focusing on not just creating a refined performance car with progressive technology but also a car that is fun to drive.

Hyundai is focusing on what creates a satisfying driving experience, which makes its electric ’N’ products living labs for the future of the 'driver's' car. Yes, there are a lot of ideas going on, you have to take some time to figure out what suits, but when you do, there’s a car with balance, power, character and fun.
