New Hyundai Ioniq 5 in Dunmail Park, Cumbria

With 238 to 315 miles of range, two battery options and the option of HTRAC all-wheel drive, the new Hyundai Ioniq 5 ticks all the right boxes. It also leads the way for charging speed, with 800v architecture enabling 350kW charge speeds that top up the battery from 10-80% in as little as 18 minutes. Hyundai Ioniq 5 trims include Premium, Ultimate and Namsan Edition. Namsan Edition has several unique features, including digital side mirrors, automatic flush door handles, Smart Park Assist, a Vision Roof and memory front seats. Ultimate has BOSE audio, a head-up display, Surround View Monitor, solar glass, rear privacy glass, black leather seats, heated rear outer seats and front ventilated seats.

The IONIQ 5 is offered with a 58kWh battery (up to 238-miles of range) and a 77kWh battery (up to 315-miles of range). Smooth and powerful, it delivers instant torque. All-wheel drive models have dual motors offering a potent 325PS (239 kW) and an impressive 605 Nm of instantaneous torque.


You get a smart electric tailgate from Premium grade, with keyless entry and start standard across the range. The boot capacity stands at 527-litres with the rear seats up, expanding to 1,587-litres with the rear seats folded down.

Living with it

Premium models get a heated steering wheel and seats, with Ultimate adding ventilation to the front seats. All versions have Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go. With the Bluelink app you can pre-condition the cabin and control charging.
